BBQing

Bar-b-que.  I think that's how you spell it.  We've had a couple over the last 2 weeks, because spring is finally here.  I think it may have even gotten into the 50's yesterday.  I've been slacking on the pictures lately, which I hope to turn around here this summer.  I find myself bring my big ol' camera out with me and then not taking the time (though it really doesn't take much) to get the sweet shots.  The following shot is the only one I got from any of the BBQ action.

There is still plenty of snow in the mountains here for spring skiing.  Erin, Scamp, and I got out after work on Friday with some friends.  We will hopefully be getting out this week as well before the field season really kicks off.  Until next time (which will hopefully be sooner than last time.).

On a side note.  If you are looking for a German Sheppard, or just like dogs in general,  my buddies have recently started a Sheppard kennel up here in Anchorage.  Be sure to check it out.  http://www.farnorthkennel.com/ .  There is all sorts of good dog information over there.

March-April

It's may now.  We woke up to snow sticking to the yard.  Crazy times.  More pictures of what we have ben up to.

Erin, Scamp, and I skied the majority of this couli several weeks ago.  We were shut down short of the top due to a pretty nasty wind-slab.

A pretty cool valley we checked out last weekend (and the weekend before) trying to ski some north facing lines.  Snow was wonky on this go, so we just hiked up to the pass.

The view from the pass was pretty sweet.
