Popping the Cork!

When I landed at the airport in Cork I was quickly whisked away by
Noelle and Dan to the beach.  It was beautiful, but my jet lag was kicking in.
This is overdue perhaps (sorry mom).  I have been in Cork now for 2 weeks, and I am having a blast.  The boys and I found an awesome house, and have been living the good life.  Cork is like nothing I have ever seen.  Ireland is awesome.  The people are nice and friendly.  I was supposed to be in France right now taking a class, but we ran into a couple of immigration issues.  We are getting them sorted now, and will spend a week in Germany in the beginning of October.  Living in a city is different for sure, but we are adapting quite well I think.

Met up with Rob on day 2 and we got to go out to Kinsale.
It is a fort that was originally built in the 12th century!

It is crazy how many pubs there are around.  I cannot believe that they are all in business.  The street that we live off of use to have 27 bars on it (some have closed down now though).  The boys and I are hoping to get out of the city sometime soon though.  Hopefully we will be able to find somewhere to hike nearby, or get into some climbing.

Anyways, here are some pictures I have taken.  I'm trying to get better about totting my camera along with me, I often forget to take pictures of all the cool things I see.  Hope everyone is have a splendid day.

Super cool fort

Awesome sea cliffs.  The wind was outrageous

Campus.  I will get more photos of campus, it is on par with UMT.

I feel like I'm at hogwarts

There's Rob, and this is where we live

Headed to the city center

One of the best things about Cork is the English Market. Fresh produce, meat,
cheese, bread, and olives.  It is cheap and crazy delicious.  I'll get more picture of
it as well.
We have been enjoying some really good food.  The butter and milk here is way too good, way too good.  It's all whole milk...

Fran Well!
Miss you all.  Talk to you soon
